Patient involved in an auto accident receive
100% coverage under insurance in most cases. The only
patient out-of-pocket expense would be for food supplements, or
any fees the insurance refuses to pay.
Explanation of Benefits:
Auto insurance covers your health expenses
resulting from an accident as long as the insurance company has
been notified of the accident in a reasonable amount of
time. Your insurance rates should not be afflicted by the
cost of health expenses.
Office Policy:
Patient must notify insurance company that
they are being treated at our office and have forms sent directly
to us. Ins the event the auto insurance denies that you hold
insurance or refuses payment, that portion will be transferred to
you and you will be responsible for payment.
If a lawsuit is involved with the accident,
a lien form will be signed by you and your attorney ensuring us
that we will be paid at the time of any settlement. You are
responsible for any balance over the settlement amount.
